ONE Archives Foundation’s History Panels to be displayed around the West Hollywood Park during One City One Pride
We are excited to announce that the ONE Archives Foundation and the City of West Hollywood have partnered to display ONE Archives Foundation’s The History of the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement History Panels around the West Hollywood Park fence-screen during the City of West Hollywood’s annual One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival and continuing through August.
The History of the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement History Panel series consists of 41 panels, including two new panels about the City of West Hollywood and its critical role in LGBTQ history and community organizing. To find out more about ONE Archives Foundation’s history panels, please click here.
Join us for ONE Queer Garden Club: a succulent social group, combining volunteer gardening work with social relationship and creativity.
The initial aim of the OQGC is to improve the physical garden terrain around ONE Archives. Over time, the garden and OQGC will evolve to build a Legacy Garden, a creative place to commemorate the many queer ancestors who have contributed to our lives and LGBTQ history.
The OQGC will gather at various intervals throughout the year at ONE Archives. Our time will be spent with our hands in the earth and in discussion with each other.

Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A.
When: September 9 – December 31, 2017
Thanks to two generous grants from the Getty Foundation, ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives at the USC Libraries will present Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A. at the ONE Gallery, West Hollywood, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles’ Pacific Design Center location from September 9 to December 31, 2017. The exhibition is co-curated by C. Ondine Chavoya, professor of art and Latina/o studies at Williams College, and David Evans Frantz, curator at ONE Archives.
Axis Mundo is part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, a far-reaching and ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles. Supported by grants from the Getty Foundation, Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA takes place from September 2017 through January 2018 at more than 70 cultural institutions across Southern California, from Los Angeles to Palm Springs, and from San Diego to Santa Barbara.
