Erik Adamian
Education & Outreach Manager

Erik’s dedication to uplifting marginalized communities led him to join the team at ONE Archives Foundation, Inc.

He graduated from UCLA with a BA in English and Civic Engagement. During his undergraduate career, he was awarded departmental and college honors upon the completion of two theses projects: one on Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray and the other on the experiences of LGBTQ Armenian Americans in Los Angeles. He also conducted faculty sponsored research on the cultural visibility of intersectional LGBTQ communities, and was a contributor to Outwrite, UCLA’s queer newsmagazine.

Fueled by his passion for vocalizing the issues and concerns of the oppressed, Erik has previously worked as an educator at the Los Angeles LGBT Center (Youth Center on Highland). As a Middle East and North Africa intern at Human Rights Watch in Washington D.C., he conducted research on human rights violations and social injustice against women in Iran. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Gay and Lesbian Armenian Society, helping with communication efforts.

As the Education and Outreach Manager, Erik manages community engagement and education efforts, e-marketing and communications, event planning, and assists in fundraising and outreach. His hobbies include playing the piano, redecorating his house, and binge-watching Shonda Rhimes’ TV shows.
