Crowd Gathers At The Gay In At Griffith Park Los Angeles. 1970

ONE’s Digital Photo Collection Now Online

June 24, 2012

A sample of images from ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives has recently been digitized and can be viewed here. The 669 photographs across 39 archival collections document LGBTQ history from World War I through the turn of the 21st century. The photographs cover everything from private parties and intimate moments to public protests and historic events and reflect the great diversity and achievements of the LGBTQ community. This digitization project has been made possible by generous funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Special thanks to Kyle Morgan, Project Archivist at ONE, for his time on this project!
