Jack Kelly is the Executive Assistant at ONE Archives Foundation, Inc.
Jack has always lived with an appreciation of queer culture and history. They graduated from The University of Iowa in 2011 with a BA in Theatre and Gender Studies and served on the executive board of their university’s LGBTQ student organization. For their senior thesis, Jack wrote a play that meditated on the relationship between gender expression, gender identity, and food. Their plays and scripts have been selected for several festivals and aim to normalize queer characters and experiences not often seen on stage or screen.
Prior to ONE, Jack served as the office coordinator at Point Foundation, the national LGBTQ scholarship fund. They also bring with them 10+ years of customer service experience, beginning when they were 16.
In 2019, Jack was selected for Bend The Arc’s Jeremiah Fellowship, a program dedicated to developing new and emerging social justice leaders in the Jewish community. They also serve as committee chair of the young adult group at their temple Beth Chayim Chadashim, and the president of Hamiltunes LA, the original Hamilton singalong group.
In their spare time, they enjoy writing, obsessing over television, and working out at Nerdstrong Gym.
